1. Currently, 20% of all men and 1/7th of all women between 20 and 24 lack a high school diploma, making it difficult for them to get good paying jobs.
  2. About 38% of the $7.76 billion education technology market goes to “instructional support.” Companies providing that support earned some $892 million–mostly for assessment and testing products.
  3. A SmartBrief survey on education technology found that 33.88% of teachers said that technology in the classroom is the most significant issue; 25.62% said it’s online education.
  4. As for how technology is being integrated into student learning, 63.76% said some teachers use tech tools in their lessons; only 19.69% said tech is integrated throughout the curriculum.
